Individual consultation
You can turn to a psychologist both when you need support with a specific life situation and when difficulties are longstanding and require deeper therapeutic work.
Psychological consultations are more focused on a specific current situation – for example, relationship difficulties, stress, life changes, a difficult decision, or another pressing issue. The goal of consultations is to better understand the situation and find the most suitable ways to deal with it.
Psychotherapy is a deeper and usually longer process. It may be appropriate when difficulties are longstanding, recurring, or significantly affect one’s wellbeing, relationships, and daily life. In therapy, we work not only with the current problem but also with the patterns of thinking, emotion, and behavior that sustain it.
You don’t need to know in advance whether you need a consultation or therapy. In our first meetings, we will discuss your situation, needs, and goals together, and agree on the most suitable way to proceed.
In my work, I use several evidence-based psychotherapy approaches and methods, adapting them to each person’s needs, difficulties, and therapy goals.
How I Work

In individual therapy, I use:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
